COVID19 Safety & Company Promise
Out at sea in the fresh air we are a very very low risk of covid19. We will be maintaining the highest of hygiene & safety measures for the future ahead. The tours we operate are private bookings only for you and your group. Before and after every tour we will be disinfecting all high traffic areas using disinfectant spray 99.9% antibacterial action. This will be followed by daily rinse downs of the entire vessel. Antibacterial hand gel will be provided onboard. Payments are to be made by bank transfer in advance. We politely request that anyone suffering from any symptoms seeks a Coronavirus test and result prior to attending for everyone's safety.
Can I bring my dog on board?
Well behaved dogs are allowed on the boat as long as they are not a disturbance to other passengers. Please let us know in advance if you wish to bring your dog. Contact us
Will the tour be Fast paced or a Leisurely coastal Cruise?
This is entirely down to you. Your skipper/tour guide is happy to accommodate either or both! Any private boat tour booking can be as relaxed as you like subject to time restrictions.
Looking to visit another point of interest?
We are able to take you to other locations such as he Lighthouse at Portland and other locations. Please note we will need to know prior to the booking as some locations will be outside of our allocated timed bookings.
How many people will be onboard?
There will be one skipper and five customer spaces. (Dogs do not count as passengers!) All our tours are booked as private tours, This means you can have the entire boat to yourself. We often take Couples out for Sunset Cruises or Whole groups of freinds and family. Either way you have plenty of space to move around and take photos and get comfortable.
Where can I find you?
We are based from both Weymouth & Portland marinas. We do not have a tour office as the boats are our floating offices! We are able to take "on the day bookings" however spaces are limited, So we recommend pre bookings to avoid any disappointment.
Please Call or email us. Contact us
What public transport can I use?
Weymouth Marina & Portland marina are easy to locate and get to using public transport links. Taxi services are also available.
Please contact us for public transport suggestions.
Where can I park my car?
There are plenty of carparks and on-street parking around the Marinas. These are all pay and display so bring change for meters. Please leave plenty of time to park as during busy periods it can take a while to find a space. It is a good idea to get in early and make a fun day of it, with enough shops, cafes and the beach to enjoy.
Which tour should I book if I want to see Bottlenose dolphins?
These are wild animals so we cannot guarantee any sightings, however the extended tours provide the best chance of seeing dolphins as we travel further and the time allows our skipper more scope for finding them. Dolphins are usually found in Portland harbour and Weymouth bay. Contact us
Do I need to bring anything with me?
It is normally a lot cooler on the water so please wear nice warm clothes. Sunglasses and a waterproof jacket will be handy if it’s windy or rainy. Remember to bring sun cream, Drinks, Snacks and camera ready for the stunning wildlife / scenery.
We provide all the safety equipment you require.
If it’s raining will my trip be cancelled?
We still operate in rainy conditions as we often see the best wildlife in poor weather. We do not operate in poor sea conditions for safety reasons.
Do I get a refund if my trip is cancelled due to foggy or stormy weather?
If we don’t sail due to extreme weather, we will move your trip to another time/day. Our skipper will always ensure that it’s safe to sail and may make last minute decisions for the interest of passenger safety.
Can I book in advance?
Absolutely! To avoid disappointment we strongly suggest that you book in advance as we use our vessels for a variety of tours, Charters and Training. We may have availability "on the day" but this has no guarantee as Pre booked tours have priority.
